Domestic violence means any form of violence within a relationship. It can be physical violence, but also psychological or sexual violence. For example: hitting, humiliating, threatening, verbal abuse, or forcing somebody to have sex.

Stichting Wende offers help and refuge accommodation for:
WomenWomen (and their children) who are affected by domestic violence;
Young mothers with children experiencing problems;
Pregnant girls with problems;
Women (and their children) who are temporarily homeless;
Women who themselves are physically or mentally abusive within their relationship.
Men
Men who have been physically or psychologically abused by their partner;
Men who have been the victim of honour crimes by family members;
Men who have a homosexual relationship;
Men who themselves are physically or psychologically abusive within their relationship.
